How many dogs do you walk in a group?
The maximum I take out at once is 6, but usually it'll be 5 dogs in a group.
Will you let my dog off lead?
Yes, if you're happy for me to do so, I like to let the dogs off lead. I'll only let your dog off once I've established a recall with them and feel its safe to do so, with some dogs this may take longer than others.
Do you have insurance?
Yes, I have Pet Business Insurance from Protectivity.
What is your cancellation policy for walks?
There are no fees or charges if you need to cancel, but I would appreciate it if you gave me 48 hours notice, if possible.
Do you walk in the rain?
Yes, I always walk the dogs whatever the weather!
You are advised to provide a suitable coat for your dog to wear when its raining, as we may end up walking in heavy rain. And you must leave a towel for me to dry your dog with when we get back.
If its really pouring down I may shorten the walk slightly.
My dog has not been neutered can you still walk him?
I prefer to only take neutered males on my group walks, but each dog will be considered separately as every dog is different, and I reserve the right to refuse any dog.
Do you walk bitches in season?
No, sorry I do not walk bitches in season. If you suspect your bitch is in season you must let me know immediately. I will be unable to walk her whilst she is in season, but I may be able to offer visits instead.
If I'm interested in walks what happens next?
If you're interested in walks I will arrange to meet you and your dog at your home. I like to meet your dog in its own environment so I can get a feel of what your dog is like, we can have a chat, discuss your requirements and go through paperwork. After this initial meeting, I will arrange to take your dog on a free trial walk, this is to get a better idea of what your dog is like. After the trial walk, if I'm happy with your dog and you're happy too, we can arrange when you want to start walks.
Will you contact me after a walk/visit?
Yes, you will get a text up date to let you know how each walk/visit has gone. I'll also post up dates and pictures on FaceBook, if you're happy. If you're away and you don't want a text after every visit then let me know.
